First Aid at Work

First Aid, is the initial treatment given to someone who is injured or sick, prior to professional medical assistance arriving and taking over from you. No matter what walk of life or employment situation it is essential that individuals know how to assist someone who is sick or injured. It is of course a requirement under the Health and Safety at Work act that employers have suitably trained members of staff. These courses will be delivered regulated to Ofqual standards and through continuous assessment throughout the course and on successful completion will be awarded a certificate recognised and accepted by the HSE.
